Students need devices to complete virtual learning. Devices from city schools have gone mainly to higher grades to ensure students could graduate or move onto the next grades. These tablets will allow my pre-K students to have live instruction with me and other teachers daily, play educational games, read online books, complete digital field trips, and more. In conjunction with companies offering free internet during the pandemic, students will be able to keep pace with their more socioeconomically advantaged peers in other districts.
Despite having to physically distance, technology such as this can help my students to have a proper start to their school careers through distance learning.
