I teach at a public school on an Air Force Base in Oklahoma. I have 18 students in my class this year. They are military connected, either through active-duty parents or parents who support the mission in other ways on the base. These are often students who move frequently due to a parent being in the military. They sometimes need help catching up on the things they have missed because they moved to a new school. They are resilient students who are eager to learn no matter where they are.
