My students are fourth graders in a rural community. Our community and school district are very strong, but not very wealthy. We are very proud of our academics and success in extra curricular activities. People who attended our school system stay or come back so that their children can receive the same outstanding educational experience. We have as many students as we can accept without overcrowding due to those who transfer into our school because of our strong reputation and results. My students demonstrate exceptional character and attitude and have a strong desire to be the best! Therefore, I believe they deserve the best materials to help them achieve their goals. Our school district provides our students with what they need, but we aren't in a financial situation to provide many extras.
