I teach in a low socioeconomic school district. My students not only struggle in school, but each struggle in different ways at home. As their first teacher, I want my students to feel loved and safe. I want them to learn that they can accomplish anything with the right mindset and support, even when life doesn't always seem fair. My hope is that they will love learning in and outside of school.
