My Kindergarten kids are incredibly inquisitive, active, eager to learn and super fun! This year I have 12 boys and 15 girls in my class. We are a Title I school. This means a large percentage of the children come from socioeconomically disadvantaged and diverse backgrounds with a wide range of school readiness skills and needs. A quarter of my kids do not speak English well and only a few have been in preschool. Next school year I am moving to TK (Transitional KIndergarten), so you can imagine how exciting it is for me to be a part of their first formal learning experience. These younger kiddos will need even more hands on materials. I am hoping you will join me on this wonderful adventure.
