I teach ESL to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. In my classroom, the goal is to become as proficient in English as their native English speaking peers. We work on our proficiency in four language domains; speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I serve 78 students throughout the day. These students come from a range of countries before moving to the United States. These countries include : Malaysia, Guinea, Thailand, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Columbia, Mexico, and others. The languages spoken in my classroom at this time include : Burmese, Rohingya, Karen, Haka Chin, Spanish, Mandingo, Dari, Hmong, and of course ENGLISH! :)
