The materials listed will help my student's complete their math worksheet they are required to do each week. I teach Special Education math (Algebra 1, and Geometry). Once a week I do a math store in my classroom because my students have expressed to me that they struggle with going into a store and knowing if they have enough money and how much change they should be getting in return. Throughout the week they earn play money by turning assignments in promptly, projects, doing extra things around the classroom and on Fridays they have to fill out a worksheet over how much money they have, what they want to purchase and how much change they should be getting in return. After they complete they worksheet I review it and they pay may and make their own change before they get to have the items they purchased. This is helping build their confidence. They have expressed how much it is helping them go into a store on their own.
