Students will be learning STEM and Computer science concepts and skills in class such as programming, wiring, soldering, and circuits. Then they are going to take their knowledge and build their own working radio.
Through this project, students will have the opportunity to experience circuitry and soldering first hand. An experience that many students do not get to do until high school or college. This will help to bring skills and concepts that we are talking about in class to life. With these radio kits, students will be able to understand how what we learn applies to the real world and explore career paths for those interested in this topic.
