All of these items will be very useful in helping my students in the classroom! The biggest items are the laminator, headphones, and electric kettle. The laminator will help protect student reports, study cards, projects, and so much more! Headphones are great for concentrated learning. Required videos are hard to watch when you have students watching them at different times so with the help of these headphones every student will be able to fully concentrate on the tasks at hand. An electric kettle will be so beneficial for my science class. Often times we do projects that require hot water. I often have to carry my coffee pot from home to heat the water up and when I cannot do that we are sometimes not able to do some of the experiments.
Smaller items seem unimportant but they are in fact just as essential! I do not have any scissors for my kids to use besides little kid scissor that end up hurting their hands. Having these will allow the students to be more comfortable when trying to cut paper and projects. Expo markers are a must in almost every classroom. You can never have enough of them and they seem to go by the quickest. I utilize my whiteboard everyday and in every class along with the individual white boards I have for my students to answer questions from their seat without causing chaos. Me and my students would be very appreciative for these items. Thank you for the opportunity to even apply for school essentials!
