With the addition of the new cutting torch, students will learn safety, proper handling of the torch and hot metal. Additionally, they will learn to cut and braze weld using the new equipment in the shop setting. Students, after learning from the shop setting, will be able to utilize this equipment helping around the family farm or checking out the equipment from the school to use on home projects. Student will also become more employable to local business within our community. The outcome for students is to go from school to work with an abundance of employable skills or skills to take on to a trade school to further their education within metal work.
