The pandemic has impacted student learning, their mental health, and has caused social isolation. It has changed the way classrooms can be conducted and the lack of flexibility has negatively impacted both behavior and the classroom environment. Flexible seating will be of extreme benefit to help fulfill diverse student needs. It will help improve their behavior, their academic performance, and help build classroom community. As the pandemic continues and changes it is important to recognize the value of allowing students to have the flexibility to meet their own learning needs.
