When learning about science and the pandemic, students understand the information by working hands-on, much better than working on a computer. Students need to learn simple lab skills to build confidence in their abilities to discover the cures and vaccines of the future. Watching a dissection and performing a dissection are two different aspects. Simulations do not compare to actual hands-on experiments. The supplies will help students to be able to dissect frogs, exam their organs and tissues with the beakers, litmus paper, and Petri dishes. The dissection kits will give students the confidence to explore and investigate. When students actively participate in the lab, they become active learners and future scientists. Our school cannot complete these tasks without this funding. One day it is possible that one of these students may find the cure for Covid-19 by learning the basics in high school science.
