The impact of COVID-19, has caused many of our students to struggle with being behind in all areas of education. Our students are dealing with so much mentally and emotionally because of this pandemic and then they come to school and we expect for them to be able to focus and catch up on months of missed learning. Thankfully we live in a world of technology and now are able to continue learning even if we aren't able to be in the classroom.
Due to Covid, both students and teachers have had to learn a new approach of learning. The ways of both teaching and learning have changed drastically since Covid. We've all had to learn new technology, software and programs but with a lot of extra work and support from everyone, we are making it work!
I am asking for some technology accessories that will help me better present lessons to my students both in the classroom or during distance learning. These items will help me provide my students with the extra support they need while also boosting their confidence as they understand the content. I am also requesting books, both fiction and non-fiction, to update my classroom library to books that my students will be interested in. Many of these books are centered around what they will be learning in class and some are just for fun, something to help get their minds off of what is going on in the world around us.
