I have selected several items that I feel will help my students learn in a variety of ways. I am asking for soft seats that my students will use while in small groups. With these seats we can take our small group anywhere in the room! I feel like this will be exciting for them and in return they will focus on what we are learning.
I am also asking for an Arts and Crafts Supply Center, this will be used for them to create their own work/projects and to work on their fine motor skills. With the pandemic we have seen students struggling with fine motor skills and I hope to help by giving them an opportunity to use multiple arts and craft tools such as painting, stamping, and cutting.
I am asking for Alphabet Learning Locks and Unlock It! Number Match. These two activities will be a great learning center for them to do independently and will also double as a tool to help with our weekly assessments. I also added stickers and star student bracelets. I have noticed in Kindergarten when the students get a reward they try their best on their work. I always try to either write something positive or leave a positive sticker so they know I do look at their work and appreciate their effort! My students love art and hands on activities so they would enjoy and benefit each of these items!
