Over the last couple years my students have had ample opportunity to sit and learn. It's time to get up and get moving. The items that I am requesting will be going directly to help my students learn. The various manipulatives will be used to take their learning off paper and into their own hands. They will be able to practice skills like spelling in a variety of ways using playdoh alphabet cutters, alphabet stamps, or alphabet magnets. They can reinforce the lessons that are being taught with tangible objects. This includes counting, adding, subtracting, telling time, working with money, letter and sound recognition, blending sounds to make words, sight word practice and so much more.
