The requested manipulatives and resources will help to continue my students with achieving their reading/phonics gap due to COVID-19. With the requested resources I am able to use the tactile items to foster my instruction. The alphabet sound tubs will my struggling readers with letter sound by being able to see and touch items that have that begin with the letter sound. Along with the sound tubs, I can use the Teacher Pay Teachers gift card to find supporting skills or lessons.
My students love anything that they can get their hands on! I can use the magnetic blocks to help students with blending cvc words and counting out sounds in a word. I can use these tiles in a whole group approach on the magnetic whiteboard, or I can use them in small groups. The magnetic whiteboard would be a wonderful addition to our classroom to help with hanging up visual aids and switching them when needed.
