I have chosen some fabulous manipulatives to help further their knowledge of math facts. With the money and coins, we can improve our skills on counting money. We can practice counting money back to one another. We can practice making change. We can practice exchanging large bills or coins for smaller. With the alphabet and ink sets, we can practice our spelling words with hands on equipment. We can also use them to making complete sentences. Maybe we will stamp all the a鈥檚 in the sentences, or long vowels. There are so many choices to use the letters and stamps with. The students will love it!! I also added a few hands on games for when we have indoor recess, or to put as one of my rotations. The dice can be used for math or ELA. The headphones will help the students who do not have them. I have 8-10 students who can鈥檛 purchase their own. We do a lot of listening and reading back. So we have to manage our time wisely so we don鈥檛 hear everyone at once. I am so excited to receive these items. I just need a little help getting them to my doorstep!!! All help is greatly appreciated!!
