Due to COVID-19, my students missed a lot of key instruction that would help them develop phonics skills and phonemic awareness. Most of my students are not reading at the desired reading level due to missing this instruction time. My goal is to use these manipulatives and resources to help them get back on track to where they should be.
My students learn best from hands-on materials and manipulatives. The letter blocks and manipulatives would be used for students to spell sight words and spelling words. I would like to use the Power Pens as a review for my students to master skills they already know. All of these manipulatives would be used during centers, small-group instruction, or tutoring.
