My students currently have projects that involve writing, directing, producing, and editing videos in support of local non-profits and the school district. There is a need for students to understand what equipment is used in producing professional-quality video, and how to use that equipment. This is necessary to correctly and timely produce the videos for both the district and the non-profit entities. The camera stabilizer will teach students how to properly and safely use equipment to secure additional avenues to secure video footage for the various projects, as well as introduce them to professional audio/visual workflows.
This stabilizer is perfect for shooting day-in-the-life videos of the non-profit organizations, and action video of district courses and activities. It also allows students to plan, execute, review, and modify their projects based on the goals of the projects. Students often during the production of video that the plan breaks down during execution, and they must be able to adapt and overcome the challenge.
This request targets those students who are involved, and those who are interested in creative writing, directing, acting, and producing video. Student learning will change from theory to application. This resource provides student insight and exposure to large-scale, big budget video and broadcast production workflows, preparing them for both college and career paths in the video and broadcast production disciplines.
