I would love to be able to provide my students with an extensive class library that meets their interests, and helps them to make up for lost time due to Covid-19. The students come from mainly low-income homes, and their access to books is primarily through the school. Due to the effect that Covid-19 has had on their time in school, a large portion of my students are behind in their reading. They need access to decodables, authentic texts, and exciting read-alouds. I want to create a library that is inviting, and able to keep their imaginations growing!
