Students need to be able to learn by using their hands and us their creativity in Science. The students will have the ability to construct a toothpick tower with the knowledge that our Earth is constantly in motion. They will need to work together as a group to see how their towers will hold up to the shaking board. Students learn in many ways but hands-on is ALWAYS best. Covid has limited students to be able to work together to solve issues. Students have only been able to use digital learning during Covid. But, now that we are back to in-classroom learning this is a great way to get my students back to being engaged in hands-on experiments.
I would love to have the hermit crab in my classroom for my special needs students to help teach responsibility, by feeding and giving them water.
The seeds will be a great learning and visual tool to teach students the difference between dicots and monocots and how they grow.
Thank you for helping my students!
