Fine motor development is critical to early learners and helps give young students a great start as future writers. As reliance on electronics during distance learning has increased, the opportunities for students to develop their fine motor skills has suffered during the pandemic. I'd like to incorporate more fine motor practice into our daily learning centers and increase the chances for strong fine motor development. You will see a variety of materials that will go into centers practicing skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and even STEM. My purpose is to incorporate more practice experiences so my students' skills in this area will strengthen but do so in a creative way where students are playing to learn. Young students often find fine motor practice tedious and difficult. These materials will help me provide meaningful, exciting, and fun ways to strengthen fine motor skills.
This is my first Donors Choose project, so I thank you for your time and consideration.
