Students learn languages best by being immersed in the language. Our German students are at many different proficiency levels in light of Covid-19. Some students went entirely virtual, while some attended blended learning last year. This year, many students have missed numerous school days due to quarantines and illnesses. Getting the students back on track with their language learning has been an ongoing journey! Acquiring a class set of headphones with microphones will help advance students in their language learning and allow them to work at their own pace. Each student is unique in their learning and this will help individualize their learning progress. Some of my German classes are also mixed classes (two different levels of German classes in one hour). A class set of headphones will directly impact approximately 100 students in German levels I, II, III, and AP at Edmond Santa Fe High School.
