This project is really important to me and my students because it provides them the opportunity to be completely flexible in the classroom when we are learning, reading, and playing. This project provides the educational resources for students to be hands on with different activities while also having a classroom that has seating to accommodate their every need. While we are also in the midst of a pandemic, these seating options will allow students to be in their own space, be comfortable, and stay on task.
Every single one of my students learns differently, and this project will modify the learning environment to make it more suitable for each individual student. These kindergarten friends have not seen a normal school year since COVID has begun, and they should be rewarded for the things they have overcome and been through. Creating a learning environment that is completely created with them in mind is on a small reward for what they deserve.
