I have chosen the majority of items to create an atmosphere in my classroom library that we call ‘The Treehouse’ which is working its way towards having that appearance. I want my students to have the feeling of taking a break and climbing up to their treehouse to dive into a great book and give them a safe reading zone. A safe place where they can dive into their own imagination and into their own story they are reading. By having the opportunity to stock my shelves with as many book options as possible to be able to reach all the desires of reading levels in my classroom will make an enjoyable, safe and adventure-filled learning experience.
