I have 22 students that need some more options for seating in my room. We have been at home off and on for about two years now. I know many of my students did not do their homework at desk or table. They were laying on their bed or living room floor. There were times were they might have been walking around reading their books. The Ergo chair will help the students that might need to move while they working. This will help them not be a distraction to other students. The pillows are for the students that did not have the option of doing homework at a table or desk. The students will be able to lay on the floor comfortably and complete work. The flexible seating will allow my students to cope with ADHD and some of the Anxiety that have come from Pandemic. I also have students that just do not have the stamina to sit through the day with out some sort of break and I hope that having these options will help them be more successful in the classroom. Having multiple tools from the flexible seating and the ample resources that teachers pay teachers have to do during small group lessons. I am sure that these resources will be a small step to help close the academic gap that pandemic has created for my students. Thank you for all the help.
