Kindergarten is such a great age to teach as the students grow so much in our short year together! At this age, great learning advances are accomplished through hands-on experiencing and play activities.
My project includes magnetic letter tiles, magnetic letters, word building blocks and magnetic fishing for sight word games which will inspire and further excite my students in their early exploration of learning to read.
These activities can create numerous small group learning centers for the wide variety of learning stages which I have in my classroom this year. By scaffolding their learning, every student in my classrooom can build their confidence and be a successful learner!
