Students have some "time to makeup" due to their time out of classroom. These times at home were not all positive experiences for all students. Many students were hungry, cold, sad and many other things. With these supplies, I would like to provide happiness, togetherness, and encouragement for my students to "makeup" lost time with their classmates.
In a world where technology is prevalent, it is necessary that I give my students positive hands-on experiences to foster a love and drive for reading. These resources will help me accomplish this with my students by helping reach my students where they are and encourage them to continue reading in a safe place.
Math also demands hands-on experiences to make connections to real-world problems. With these supplies, instead of staring at a screen we can get our hands involved. This will boost my students understanding tremendously when everyone in the room can touch, feel, and show each other their learning.
