By providing learning materials that enrich the environment, I allow my students time to think and explore. I am supporting the learning objectives with literature and hands-on materials.
COVID-19 has impacted the classroom by not allowing students time to think deeply and critically. I am requesting logic games to encourage critical and creative thinking. I am requesting hands-on items to support stem learning that will allow students to build and design their own ideas. Gifted students will be able to reference new content with rich literature of nonfiction and fiction books. I am also requesting items to enhance social emotional learning in my classroom. Allowing students a calm area to think and process supports the overall student's learning environment.
