Hand sanitizers, tissues, and bandages will help keep my students clean and healthy, especially during a pandemic. Pencils, erasers, and notebooks are basic supplies my students use in the classroom. The books will help my students develop basic language skills, expand their vocabularies, open up their experiences, and broaden their perspectives.
The majority of my students are from low-income families, thus school supplies are not guaranteed at home. I will use some of the items as incentives and rewards to motivate my students to set goals, apply effort, and achieve goals.
