At the beginning of Covid, schools were shut down, and students were not able to physically come to school. That hurt many science programs, because students learn best when they are presented with material, and can then use hands-on opportunities to reinforce those concepts.
As an educator, I have seen the effects of lack of hands on science in my students' achievement. They need more opportunities to build and create and use their hands to reinforce science concepts. The material in this grant will enable students to apply Physical Science concepts in real world science experiences.
