Book it to the Classroom!
What is the learning need for your purchase?
The learning need for my classroom is a reliable and abundant source of literature that my students can have access to throughout the day. This can be done by building a classroom library for my students!
How will this purchase help meet the learning need?
By purchasing these supplies, my students will have access to their own selection of books that provide opportunities for independent reading and curricular extensions. This will allow students to explore book genres and truly discover which books they love to read.
Who is the target population in your learning need?
The target population for this learning need is Second Grade.
How will your students’ learning change as a result of this project?
The learning change will be positive and supportive throughout the classroom. Students will be able to practice their reading fluency as well as build their vocabulary skills just by simply having access to books within the classroom. Adding a library to the classroom will improve upon the positive learning environment we are building in the classroom.
