New books and cozy chairs will help my 2nd grade students have the reading materials and a comfortable space they need to help them be excited about reading. Because of Covid, my students have missed out on many social adventures and opportunities. Our community also experienced record breaking flooding that devastated many of the homes of students in our community. Reading is an adventures that never ends. Reading gives us places to go when we have to stay where we are. New books for our classroom library will help students deal with social and emotional issues as well.

About my class
