These robots will enhance the STEM classroom that I have developed. This classroom is a place where my students enjoy hands-on activities that encourage them to utilize Science and Engineering Practices to address a problem or answer a question. These robots will help students fulfill the ISTE standards. To help my students learn amid the pandemic, I could use these robots and the cross-curricular activities that are provided with them to strengthen their writing, reading, and math skills. To make an upcoming coding unit more engaging, I could use these robots to allow students to learn coding from scratch and transfer their new skills to real-world challenges. Every activity that is incorporated requires the students to use critical thinking skills, and most of the time, they are also working collaboratively. These skills along with the computer skills they will gain will be useful in whatever post-secondary careers they choose.
