To help my students continue to learn amid a pandemic. I would like to replace the tools that was lost during the 2020- 2021 school year. My students are using Scholastic System 44 set from 2005. This system has improved each students reading level. The students have all increased their MAP reading score this winter semester by 2 points and up to 22 points. I am currently using someone else鈥檚 discarded headsets. I would like to replace the headsets with the type that were misplaced. I would like to update the system 44 library with a few classroom book sets that were lost during the shutdown of Covid-19.
My students are hard wording but struggle with learning concepts. They fight daily to keep up with their peers despite their disabilities. Reading is hard and they do not enjoy doing it. Using System 44 and the library have provided them with success and a successful school year while increasing their confidence in all academic areas.
