If this project is fully funded, I will be able to provide my students with an experience that they will be able to learn from. When I was in elementary school, Art was the special I looked forward to the most. It was a place I felt safe in showing others who I was. This is the kind of environment I hope to create for my students as well. One of the ways to do that, is by providing them with experiences they can't find anywhere else in their community.
