The pandemic has affected the classroom in many ways. Hands-on learning is one of these ways. It requires more resources and preparation time to sanitize items between uses. But first graders are very excited to utilize their brains in a more engaging manner with STEM bins and hands-on projects. I would like to provide my students with more STEM options that are academic and fun.
By adding additional supplies to my classroom, students will have more opportunities to work hands-on. They can demonstrate their abilities and creations through engineering, building, science, art, and play. These items will help my students work together while helping develop fine motor skills and logical thinking. I'm excited for them!
