My students have enjoyed reading the few class sets of novels I have for my classroom. Most of my students have continued to read other books in these series or look for books by the same author. I would like to expose my students to the Percy Jackson series. I would also like the class sets of Wonders and Holes. Our school library's non-fiction section is literally from the 1970s. I need my students to have access to nonfiction books that they will be eager to read. The Who Was series is a great way to help my students become better readers of informational text.
By donating to my project, my students will have access to a variety of books that are not in our school library. This will help my reluctant readers to continue to have good literature available to them.
Lastly, I would like my students to read a Who Was book and make a bottle character to go with their presentation.
