The sophomores course curriculum requires students to learn and use technology in the classroom. The use of technology helps the students visualize the important concepts.
The graphing calculators will be used to explore how different functions relate to each other and to find key features of functions in real life settings. Some examples are: finding the height of a rocket, time it takes for something to hit the ground, intersection points of two functions, solving systems of equations.
The graphing calculators will also be used to perform matrix operations and in finding and using the statistical features when given a set of data.
