Hands-on learning is a great way to learn yet many schools find it difficult to incorporate hands-on projects. This can be a particular challenge for public schools, which often have tight budgets. Some benefits of hands on learning are: It is a more engaging way to learn, It can lead to increased retention, it can offer practice in problem solving and critical thinking. I have chosen items to achieve these goals. With these new items and materials, my students will be able to learn with a variety of hands on materials.
