Many of the students in my math classes can't afford to purchase a TI-30XIIS calculator for home use. I currently have enough calculators for every student in class to use during class time, but many students need to take one home to use for practice assignments. Another tool that we often use is a ruler, and students often need to check these out for at-home use. We also use composition books as math journals. Donations to this project will my students the option of checking out a classroom calculator for home use.
