I teach all sixty-five, second grade students the writing core curriculum during the week. These children love to write! Currently, all of our writing has just been paper/pencil, which is good. They need to learn this. However, in our core curriculum, it states that we will also use technology to write and publish our written stories. We are writing narrative, expository and opinion pieces. I want to use available software to teach the students to create their own stories, books, and projects , publish/print them. In doing this, they can share their written work with their reading buddies, their classmates, and their families!

About my class
