Most of the books on my list have been specifically requested by my students, and so students have had agency in choosing them. This alone is helpful because there have been many things within the pandemic that students have had no choice about. All of the books on my list will assist students in increasing literacy, especially in terms of vocabulary development. They are also all books that will help students make connections and better understand life experiences. The chromebook chargers will assist us in having a smoother classroom experience when students have forgotten their own chargers.
