My kindergarten classroom is filled with amazing students eager to learn. Kindergarten is where students begin to learn the foundational skills. Each day my students are excited to do hands on activities in our classroom.
Please help me to have math tools and manipulatives accessible for students. This will allow students the freedom to go and retrieve whatever tools they need in order to answer their math problems.
When tools are easily accessible, students are more likely to utilize them. When they are tucked away in a cupboard, students are more likely to forget that they have those tools available to help them. I want my students to be successful in all areas of schooling and have complete access to their classroom.
When things are in disarray, it is hard to focus and achieve success. By being able to organize materials, it will provide a better learning environment for all students; by having a place for materials and materials in their place! It is difficult to organize fun learning experiences when you have to search through piles of materials and manipulatives looking for the right things. With this storage cabinet and the totes, materials will be easier to find and use in an engaging way to ensure success and higher learning for all students for many years to come.
