For the love of reading is the why for my project. The last two years of teaching and learning during Covid-19 have given me great insight. Many of my students have not been given a consistant opportunity to read the rich literature and diverse modes of text that is available. I realized that many of my students do not and did not (during shut-down) have access to books and magazines that can engage a 4th grade child's mind. I will use these literary materials to further their access to rich text.
