The resources I am requesting on behalf of my students will greatly improve their classroom experiences. We have really struggled to keep headphones working with the increased use, due to online learning. I have 3 classes of 5th graders, that's about 70 students sharing one classroom set of headphones! My students will really appreciate comfortable headphones that will be durable enough for them to use, and actually, be able to hear out of. My students love to read and many of the books in my classroom library definitely show this! I frequently have students bring me books and ask me to repair them so they can finish them. So you can see that new and varied reading material would keep them in their seats and their minds in their books! I have many students at different reading levels so I try really hard to have a variety of interesting books at all levels to keep my students engaged and wanting more time for reading.
