I teach Severe Special Education. I have been in elementary the last several years and now am at a high school. It's a very new experience for me and takes the name "life skills" to a whole new level. My students now are only a few short years from leaving high school and it is my job to help prepare them for "after high school" as best I can. I am teaching them executive functioning skills, social skills, time, scheduling, money, personal care, chores, etc. anything that is a life skill, to help prepare them for a job, independent living, or anything that gives them some independence in their future. I have a wide range of abilities in my class and all donations are so needed and appreciated!
