Studies have shown, students who are not at grade level in reading or math by the time they are in third grade will continue to struggle throughout their time in school. Students need hands-on opportunities to find success with these skills. Math manipulatives helps students create concrete understanding of the math skills they are learning. Helping them enjoy math and wanting to learn more. Additional books in our class library will allow many different options for my students to find a book they love, and therefore creating life long readers.
