As we study about the Earth, getting students to become more engaged, students need to be able to have some hands on experience. Viewing different rocks and minerals under a microscope will also allow students to see how each rock is unique and how it tells a story. Living in Utah, we have the Big Five National Parks, students who like geology or the outdoors are encouraged to consider a career option in the tourism and geology field. So it鈥檚 important for students to not only see and learn but to find their passion!
