Play in speech/language therapy is a natural way for children to learn and implement language skills into their everyday language. Due to Covid children have not been able to acquire needed social skills through play, due to the need to isolate at home with families away from peers in a classroom setting.
The materials requested will help student learn new vocabulary and experience play activities with peers. The books, toys and sensory items will help students in my therapy room experience things from around the world in a fun ways through play.
